Steven Thomas Wheeler
Steven Thomas Wheeler, 62, of Franklinton passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home.
Steven was born in Granville County on October 14, 1959 to the late Richard Winston Wheeler and Willie Gray Frazier.
He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid outdoorsman.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3:00 PM at in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford officiated by Reverend Carl Hunter. A private burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.
Steven is survived by one sister, Tamara Wheeler; two brothers, Mike Wheeler (Toni Anne) and Gary Wheeler (Polly); one nephew, Maxwell Wheeler and many cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jessica Nicole Wheeler.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home of Tamara Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
