Tommy Latta: a good man, who trusted in the Lord his whole life, giving all the glory to God and his Son Jesus. He never complained to me about his lot; just bore that burden with the knowledge that his real home is Heaven. He is an example for us all as we come to meet our Maker. Love, joy, peace, patience. Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These fruits of the Spirit exemplified his life. Our loss, Heaven’s gain.
Carl and I are so sorry to hear of Thomas’ passing! Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this very sad time!
We are so very sorry for the loss of Tommy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
A mentor, friend, encourager and an example for us all. He taught me much about construction, about people, and about loving your neighbor….even those who are sometimes hard to love. Tommy will remain a Great Man in my heart. I hurt for his family and other friends, but have no doubt he is at the right hand of Jesus! I celebrate knowing him and I’m very thankful that Tommy was part of my life.
Ben and I graduated with Tommy. He was such a nice guy. We saw him a few years ago at a ballgame and caught up with the years past. We were sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this time.
Tommy was such a wonderful man of God. I learned so much about life and love from him and will always treasure my time working with him. I know that he will be missed by so many. My prayers are with the family in the days ahead. His love for the Lord and his words of wisdom will be something that I will treasure always. We celebrate that he is with the Lord, but also know that it is okay to be sad that he is no longer with us here on earth. God bless and keep you Judy, Karen, Ben and the entire family.
Judy and Family:
I am so saddened to hear this news of Tommy’s passing. Heaven has surely gained a wonderful soul. I cannot even express the joy he brought to my work life and all that came in contact with him through his work at C. C. Woods Construction Co. over the years. His ever presence of laughter and prayer when both were needed for any of us. In all my years upon this earth now – I cannot think of anyone else I know or have known that witnessed and lived by the word of God more than he did. With that I know that the heartache of not having him present here with you on earth will be hard but the promise of being united with him again one day in his heavenly home will get you through. After receiving the news of his passing my clock in the living room chimed upon the next hour (the one that he gave to me) and I immediately thought of him and his gift that I will cherish forever.
Much love to each of you.

A great man, respected in not only the construction industry but in life. Tommy mentored me as he did so many to be patient and respectful of others and to put in an honest days work. He will be sorely missed. They just don’t make em like Tommy Latta anymore
A true friend. An inspiration to always do your best. He always brought the “A” team and truly respected all that he worked with. It was an honor to work with Tommy for so many years. Will miss those calls “just checking in”. My deepest condolences.
We are so sorry to hear about Tommy. He was so kind and always had a smile on his face. Will never forget how good he was to my niece, Diane Keith, when she was diagnosed with lymphoma and was hospitalized. He would call her to see if she needed anything and all she ever wanted was Bojangles tea. Tommy never failed to deliver before he went home. Prayers and thoughts for the family.
