Michael Dwayne Baker, 61, of Wake Forest passed away Wednesday, August 10,2022 at his home.
Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 28, 1961 to the late Robert Eugene Baker and Kathryn Lee Dunlevy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor. Burial will follow at the Keith Family Cemetery..
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Sherron Baker; three daughters, Sarah Dockum, Tiffany Lyle (Jimmy) and Shelly Baker; one son, Michael J. Baker (Annette Toledo); seven grandchildren, Christian Dockum, Kaylee Baker, Cheyenne Lyle, Hannah Lyle, Polly Lyle, Lilia Baker and Oliver Baker; one step-son, Brantley Queen; a niece, Amber Zimmerman and nephews, Cody Seeger and Kyle Seeger. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Baker and one sister, Penny Seeger.

I’m so very sorry to hear this. I was his girlfriend for a couple of years in high school. I’m so sad for his family. I just can’t believe it. My condolences to his loved ones.

I was so shocked to hear about Mike from the get go I thought it was a joke until I learned the truth. But this is so heartbreaking not only for his family but for you mostly because you were his soulmate. You only had each other a short time but I know you were happy girl and the smile on your face on your wedding day showed proof of it. I know you will never get over losing him but just know you’re in my thoughts & prayers with each passing day. 🙏😭
