Beatrice Ozellar Wrenn

Beatrice Ozellar Wrenn, 84, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, May 18,2022 at her home.

Beatrice was born in Granville County July 13, 1937 to the late Alfred and Ruby Greenway. She had strong Christian faith and was a member of Hester Baptist Church. Beatrice had a green-thumb and a passion for gardening, cooking and fishing. She was loved and will be missed by many family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23,2022 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford at 11:00 AM officiated by Reverend Steve Brown. Burial will follow in the Wrenn Family Cemetery in Roxboro.

She is survived by a son, James A. Wrenn (Robbie); a daughter, Ruby Stine (Marty); two grandchildren, Courtney Jean Williams (Austin) and Chris Zook (Stephanie); five great-grandchildren, Sabrina Parker, Nick Parker, Brianna Zook, Ali Zook, Allen Zook and three brothers, Thomas Greenway (Louise), Jimmy Greenway and Cordell Greenway and her fur babies, including two dogs and four cats. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bobby” Robert Wrenn, three brothers, Joseph Greenway, Charlie Greenway and Otis Greenway; two sisters, Elsie Taylor and Betty Francis Loyd and three grandchildren, Lorrie Ann
Zook, J.W. Wrenn and Morgan Wrenn.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 23,2022 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.

Flowers are kindly accepted.

    Ruby,, Bea was a very sweet lady and I have truly missed her . My prayers will be with you and family. I am sure you have many great memories of Bea and Bobby to laugh and smile about as she had a great sense of humor.

    I miss my best friend already. Bea was such a good person. Always spoke kindly of others. She would be so proud of all those flowers with beautiful blooms in her yard. She certainly had a green thumb for planting a flower even without a root and it would grow. So sorry you had to leave us so soon but now we know you are in heaven with Bobby and others you loved so much and who left us so soon. Sorry you were sick but now you are out of pain. So rest in peace and I will always love you.
