Matthew Davis Edwards

Matthew Davis Edwards, 17, of Yanceyville, NC passed away Monday, April 25,2022.

Matthew was born in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama on January 19,2005 to Cathleen Armstrong and the late James Raymond Edwards Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5,2022 at 11:00 AM at Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church officiated by Reverend David Richardson. Burial will follow at Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother Cathleen Armstrong Tice; five brothers, Chase Edwards of Tuscaloosa, Al., Zachary Edwards of Oxford, Brandon Edwards of Oxford, Cody Edwards of Oxford Scotty Craig of Florida; his paternal grandfather, James Edwards Sr. of Oxford and his maternal grandmother, Carmen Clay of Creedmoor. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patsy Edwards.
