Our hearts are in shock!it will never be the same without Cindy at the campground. She was tough and hard but had a heart of gold. You really had to get to know her until she would let you in. She guarded her heart but when. She let you in, she did it whole heartedly. Love you and miss you already!

So sorry to hear this news. Warm thoughts being sent to Milton and all those left behind to cherish Cindy’s memory. We have always remembered Cindy fondly during those moments when we think back on our time at Americamps. Cindy particularly loved the ones and was always so sweet to Ryan. Who else would put a bucket of sidewalk chalk outside so the kids could color on her propane tank? You were special Cindy and will be missed.
My Heart is broken,. Cindy will always have a special place in our Hearts. Bobby and I thought of her as a daughter by another Mother. I will sure miss her popping in even if she didn’t stay but a few minutes. She had a Heart of gold and a great Manager. Thank you Cindy for loving our Poptart the way you did. We will always love you.
We met Cindy at Americamps 16+ yrs. ago and we’ve been friends ever since. The more I got to know her, the more amazed I was. She’s overcome so much in her life; she was smart, determined and talented. She gave 100% at everything she did. Someone said when Cindy let you in her heart, she loved you wholeheartedly; we were lucky to be loved by Cindy. After we left Americamps, she was so good about staying in touch with us. She loved her animals and loved our little Hunter and Rosie like her own fur babies. Rest In Peace, Cindy. We love you.
Cindy will truly be missed by all at Americamps. She worked tirelessly to make sure everyone had fun and were well taken care of. We will keep Milton and family in our thoughts and prayers.
Cindy was a great friend to Debbie and myself, going to miss seeing her around camp ground and joking with her. She will always be in our memories and never forgotten
I remember calling seeking a lot for my upcoming travel assignment at a local hospital in Henderson, NC. You called, thanking me for working during COVID and to tell me that you had an lot available. Thank you for welcoming me into a new world of RV living and checking in on me. Though I know your family will miss you, I pray that God provides them with the strength they need to carry on. I pray that God keeps and cover your family, all the days of their lives. Thank you for being a great manager and friend. Rest in God’s arms. We will miss you.
Where do you start. Still in shock and heart broken. Long time friends of Cindy & Milton. Daniel & TJ grew up together at the campground. Every time Cindy would see Daniel she would give him a hug, and they shared birthdays. Roger & Cindy were like brother & sister always talking smack. She was always giving me stuff for Daniel’s baby. If you were friends with her, you were friends for life. She was always my dancing buddy in the field. Not sure how to move forward without her. Good bye my friend I hope your rest in peace and know how much you will be missed in all of our lives and we love you dearly…
It is hard to even know where to begin when sharing thoughts about Cindy. She loved fiercely those important to her, her family and friends. I am lucky to be her friend. She was a force to be reckoned with but her goal was to keep everyone happy and do the right thing. She had a heart of gold. She will be missed and my heart goes out to Milton, as I have walked in his shoes. TJ, hold tight to you memories. Cindy’s face would light up at the mention of your name!
Americacamps won’t be same without her smiling face. If she was your friend you knew it because she was always stopping by your campsite and saying something to you or picking on you! Prayers to Milton and her family. I can still see her coming through the door on Judy porch with her smiling face! We will miss her at the campground. RB and Betty
We met Cindy several years ago when she and Milton recovered our boat seats. She was dedicated and talented and will be missed by so many. Rest In Peace Cindy.

We did not know Cindy personally, but we knew her as one of the managers at Lake Gaston Americamps. Our deepest condolences to Milton and her family.
My heart is completely broken for Milton, TJ and love ones. May beautiful Cindy rest sweetly with Jesus now. Praying for God’s peace and comfort to engulf and sustain you all in the days ahead. Much love to each of you.
