Edward Gold Adcock

Edward Gold Adcock,96, passed away Tuesday, March 8,2022 at his home.

Edward was born in the Berea Community on August, 3,1925. He was the oldest son of Goldie and Ruth Adcock.

Edward was a combat veteran in World War II serving in the European theater. He returned to work as a merchant, mechanic and farmer. He continued his fathers operation of the Goldlane Service Station and started an automotive repair shop with his son, EG and worked until his retirement.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 11,2022 at 2:00 PM at the Adcock Family Cemetery on the family farm officiated by Reverend Keith Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Oakley Adcock; a daughter Rae Irvine and husband Nelson; a son Edward Jr. and granddaughters Cara Monroe and husband Jonathan and Alison Irvine
