I am deeply saddened to have recently learned that Stanley had passed away. He and I worked together back in the early 1980s and during that time we really forged a close friendship. Stanley was a true Christian gentleman that loved his wife, his children, and all of his friends and family. He was a simple man that kept alive old time traditions of life and what it means to be a good neighbor. And even though he and I both struggled to make ends meet while we worked together in tough economic times, we still had the best time working together. Even when it seemed that the hard times were stacking the deck against us, we still found ways to make each other laugh til we almost cried. I haven’t been in contact with Stanley but maybe twice in the last 20 years, but he has always been in my heart and he will always be in my memories. Great memories of a great friend that I will cherish until I see him on the other side. Rest in peace Stanley.
