Makayla Leigh Ann Lane, 24, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022.
Makayla was born in Durham County to Jason Wyatt Lane and Tina Oakley Lane.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
She is survived by her parents, Jason and Tina Lane; a daughter, Emery Lane; a brother, Jacob Lane; paternal grandparents, Buck and Barbara Lane; three aunts, Penny Oakley (Aldric), Helen O. Thorpe (Barry) and Angela Oakley (Andy) and five cousins, A.J. (Brittany), Britteny (Tom), Ryan (Holden), Cameron and Austin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly and maternal grandparents, Buck and Mary Helen Oakley.

Such a beautiful young lady. Rest easy sweet girl and hope you have your sweet Kelly in your arms again! Watch over your sweet Emery and your Momma and Daddy and Jacob. They are missing you tremendously. I am praying for peace and comfort for the family.
