Shirley Mae Finch Boyd
Shirley Mae Finch Boyd, 85, a resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Shirley was born in Person County to the late James B. Finch and Flossie Churchill Finch.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Terry Currin (Tom), Butner, Debbie Moore (Mike), Morganton; four grandchildren Ashley Lloyd (Gerald), Tyler Currin (Heather), Stacey Ledford (Travis), Drayton Moore (Kristen Masencup), four great grandchildren Avery, Addyson, Brady and Hank, sisters Ann Faucette, (Ronnie), Kelly Caudill (Jay Nowell), brother Don Finch and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James B. (Shorty) Boyd, sisters Kathy Keith, Mary Goss, brothers, Leonard and Jerry Finch.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 16,2022 at 2:00 PM in the Creedmoor Cemetery located at Hwy 56, Creedmoor NC officiated by the Reverend David Richardson. Visitation will be held following the service and other times at the home of Tom and Terry Currin.
Flowers are kindly accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Due to COVID-19 the family requests that all in attendance please wear a mask or appropriate face covering.

I am so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing, she was a nice lady that would do anything for anybody. I will be praying for her family.
