Linda Riley Morris

Linda Riley Morris, 78, a resident of Granville County passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at Granville Medical Center.
 
Linda was born December 30, 1943 in Granville County to the late Johnny V. Riley and Lessie J. Riley.  She was a member of Tally Ho Baptist Church and retired from Murdoch Center.
 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Robert Oliver.  Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:45 – 1:45 PM and at other times at the home of her daughter, Jo Ann Carreto.
 
She is survived by her son, James Ramsey, Jr. of the home, daughters, Tammy Simpson of Oxford, JoAnn Carreto (Gerardo) of Stovall, Amy Dickerson of Oxford; step-daughter, Gloria Clayton of Butner; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Morris; brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Roy, and Ray Riley; sisters, Bertha West, Dorothy Suitt and Mary Emma Riley.
