Effie Virginia O’Briant

Effie Virginia O’Briant, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 25,2022 at Brantwood Nursing Center.

Effie was born in Granville County to the late Ira Lee O’Briant and Lizzie Belle Greenway. She was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and worked at the grill on Highway 96 for many years. Effie lived at Garden Park Villas before her health started to decline and made many friends in her time there.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 27,2022 at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Cam Ford.

She leaves to cherish her memory, many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Janie Morton. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
