Gary Wayne Brame Sr.
Gary Wayne Brame Sr., 73, passed away Saturday, January 22,2022 at his home in Orlando, FL.
Gary was born in Norfolk, VA. on October, 28,1948 to the late Johnny Frank Brame and Lucy Walker Brame. He served sixteen years with the United States Military and attended Granville County Schools.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 28,2022 at 2:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor officiated by Pastor David Herman. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a granddaughter, Lorraine B. Russell (Josh); a grandson, Kendal Brame; a great-granddaughter, Abi Russell; a special aunt, Mary Lewis Bowling and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary W. Brame Jr.; two sisters, Judy B. Puckett and Paulette Brame and a brother, Frankie Brame.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 28,2022 from 1:00 – 1:45 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.

Was friends with Gary growing up on Broad Street in Oxford. Gary was a wonderful person; he had that “one of a kind” smile. Thank him for his Military service. RIP!!!!

Gary Brame was a stud; one of the toughest guys I ever knew in Oxford. I remember a certain football coach after seeing him working on a power pole in downtown Oxford with no shirt on lamenting the fact that Gary never played football. The photo above is more proof that a little granddaughter, or great-granddaughter, can soften the toughest man’s heart. RIP Gary.
