Alan & family, we are so sad to learn of Steve’s passing. We have many fond memories of our Brentwood neighbors, IBM coworker & little league. You & David in Indian Guides & the trips to Camp Seagull with both Dads snoring. Love to you & yours. Dewey & Donna Wood

JoAnna, we read of Steve’s passing in the N&O. We are so sad for you and your family. You had come to my mind twice in the past week. Our time being in Brentwood when our children were young was priceless. Steve entertained us in delightful ways especially when we were camping at Kerr lake. We treasure our memories of him.

I was sad to see Steve’s name in the N&O obituaries. I considered you and him to be two of my true friends in Brentwood. I was sad that distance pulled your family and mine apart so that we no longer could socialize together. I missed both of you. We are doing well. I hope you are. I regret that a legal commitment will prevent me from coming to Oxford today for Steve’s service.

I have many fond memories of working with Steve, every time I eat mayonnaise on my fries, or his love of carrot cake. The cafeteria had carrot cake on Thursday and Steve would have the lady hide one and save it for Friday. The trip he and I took to Austin. He was one of the best of my many IBM friends. I hope your many memories of Steve will help comfort you in the coming days and weeks, my thoughts are with you. Danny Ray
