Fred Herbert Currin
Fred Herbert Currin, 81, of Granville County passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home.
Fred was born in Granville County to the late Embra Currin and Ida Bell Williamson. He was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and attended Stovall High School. Fred was a United States Army Veteran and worked at Burlington Industries in Clarksville, VA for forty-two years.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:30-1:45 PM at Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of thirty years, Carita Ennis Currin of the home; two sisters, Mary Owens of Wylliesburg, VA and Jane Englebrite of Oxford; a brother Kent Currin (Ellen) of Oxford, two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Creek Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Terry Howard. Burial will follow at a later date at Hills of the Neuse Memorial Gardens in Smithfield, NC.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church, 2136 Mountain Creek Rd., Oxford, NC 27565.

So sorry to hear about Herbert’s passing. Sorry we could not be there for the family. Richard’s nephew died and we attended his services in Durham. Our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones.
