So sorry to hear about Bobby. I met him via working at the flight facility beginning in the late 80’s. Bobby could always be trusted to “do the right thing” no matter the circumstances or consequences. He was and still is a great man of God. Prayers for you and your family.

Judy and family, so very sorry to hear about Bobby. I met him when I came to the unit at RDU in 1989 as a brand new WO1. He could always be counted on for an encouraging word and a wisecrack with that mischievous glint in his eyes that let you know it was all in good fun, but he also took care of business and took care of the soldiers around him. He set the example for others to follow, but didn’t take himself too seriously. Solid and upright, sorely missed. Our prayers go out for solace for you and the family, and Godspeed home Bobby!

Judy, just saw Bobby’s obituary in my latest issue of the Butner-Creedmoor News and was so sorry to hear. I remember seeing you and Bobby many times when I would be in the area. I have many memories of his family. My condolences to you and your family at this sad time.

It has taken until now to move past the shock of Mr. Bobby’s passing. Bobby, Judy. Amy and Julie and their family have been like family to ours since I was born. Bobby was our neighbor since the 60s. I have so many fond memories and respected his love for family, his stellar character and example of a Christian man. I will miss seeing him walking to the mail box and our conversations when we were in our backyards. I know you as our parents Ray and Ruth, looking on from Heaven as a protective angel. May God wrap you all in his arms during this next year. We are grieving with you. I am here whatever you need. Peace and love.

Judy and family, I was sorry to hear about Bobby. He was a kind and caring person. I would see him at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he always had a gentle smile and caring attitude. I remember Margaret and Mrs. Haskins. They would make you feel right at home. I will miss seeing Bobby at church and his sweet smile. God bless.
