Rebecca Lorraine Spell Watkins
Rebecca Lorraine Spell Watkins, 92, of Drewry, NC passed away Monday, September 13, 2021.
Lorraine was born in Franklin County to the late Delbert B. Spell and Glennie Lester. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning and was an active member in her church.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Gardens officiated by Reverend Bill Riley with special speaker, Randy Curtis.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Deborah Smith Pulley of Norlina and Lisa Smith Willis of Norlina; two sons, Stanley Smith of Stem and Kenneth R. Smith of Stem; a sister, Carol Medlin of Butner; a brother, Donnie Spell of Dunn; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, W.H. Smith and her second husband, James L. Watkins.

Kenneth, I will remember your Mother fondly. She was very friendly & kind towards me. I pray the memories of her will always give you comfort.
May knowing you’re in the hearts and thoughts of others help you through this time of sorrow. It was a pleasure to have known Lorraine.
We had lots of laughs during our phone calls. Will miss her. Prayer are with the family

Sorry for the loss of your mom but I noticed in the obituary that my mom, Loraines other sister was not mentioned. She had a middle sister SILVIE MEEKER TAYLOR OF STANTONSBURG preceded in death Dec 11, 2021.
