

Tonya Blackwell Rayl
Tonya Blackwell Rayl, 47, a native of Granville County passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home in Oxford. She was born August 29, 1973.
Tonya worked as manager at the Creedmoor Dollar Tree up until four years ago, when her health declined due to cancer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor by Rev. David Richardson.
Tonya leaves behind her two children, Danielle Blackwell and David Rayl; her mama, Jean Whitfield (John); her siblings, Rhonda Schwarze (Andy), Chris Blackwell, Augustine Gover, John Whitfield, Jr. (Amber); her Granddaddy, CB Brogden; her loving nieces and nephews, and Larry Rayl, Jr., father of David Rayl. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Richard Blackwell; Belle “Granny” Thacker, and Annie Lee “Granny” Blackwell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
