Matthew “Matt” McKenna
Matthew “Matt” McKenna, 35, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021.
He was a native of Granville County, the son of Geoffrey McKenna (Michelle) and Theresa Harris. He was a plumber by trade. Matt was a loving father to his son, Liam Matthew McKenna. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and fishing with his cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 12,2021 at the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father and stepmother, Geoffrey and Michelle McKenna, and his mother, Theresa Harris; a son, Liam Matthew McKenna, sisters, Alicia McKenna, Tessa Gratz (Jerry), step-brothers, Robert Springle, Michael Springle and a step-sister, Jennifer Driver and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30-12:45 P.M.

My wife and I want to express our condolences to the family of mister MacKenna for the loss of a young man, who was undoubtedly very loved and will be missed.

Sorry to hear of the family’s loss. We will be praying for the family. It is never easy to lose a loved one, however God can give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
