Larry Clyde Deal
Larry Clyde Deal, 76 a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home.
He was the son of the late Clyde Deal and Lola Mae Heatherly. Larry was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a self employed plumber.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Robert Newton. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.
Surviving are three daughters, Debra Bowes (Donald) of Roxboro, Barbara Williams of Oxford, Diane Turner of Stovall, a son, John Larry Deal of Virgilina Va., nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Carolyn Moon, Doris Deal Lee, brothers, Jay Lee Deal and William Deal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce “Polly” Deal, daughter, Sandra Faye Bowes, grandson, Casey Lee Campbell, sister, Betty Jean Slaughter, brothers, Albert Deal and Wayne Deal.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service at Eakes Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Larry Deal was a good and thoughtful man. So sorry to hear of his passing. Larry and uncle Jay done work on my house 30 yrs. Ago. . . Such fine and outstanding me. Thoughts and prayers are in our hearts.
I am sorry to hear about Larry. Larry and I worked at Loyd Plumbing back in the 70’s. I enjoyed working with Larry and learned a lot about plumbing from him. RIP my friend.
