Rose Belle Pendergraph Griffin


Rose Belle Pendergraph Griffin, 85, of Durham County passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Transitions Hospice in Wake County.

Rose was born in Durham County to the late James Nello Pendergraph and Lona Margaret Pendergraph. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Durham and was a homemaker.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church 2047 Gate 2 Rd. Creedmoor, NC 27522 officiated by Pastor Greg Allison and Pastor Jimmy Hall.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Linda Hughes (Albert) of Oxford; five granddaughters, Christy May (Jason), Kimberly McCotter, Hope McCotter, Faith McCotter and Charity McCotter; five grandsons, David McCotter Jr. (Rebekah), Chris Lyon (Chelsey), DJ McCotter, Charles Lyon and Justin Lyon and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Charles Buddie Griffin; her son James Keith Griffin; two daughters Margaret Binion and Amy Lyon and a grandson, Sol Plante.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 500 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
