    Dear Family,
I want to express my sympathy to your family for the loss of your father, Charlie. I remember visiting Mary’s Chapel with my grandmother, Louise Cash, lovingly know as “Miss Doodie.” Charlie was always seated at the organ and played beautifully. My prayers are with you as you trust the Lord to bring you comfort and peace. May your wonderful family memories warm your hearts and help you face each day . May God Bless, Shannan Cash Benton

Gina, Sarah and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and your extended family in the death of your father. Although we personally never knew him, Rat spoke highly of him and I am sure he was a good man.. His passing saddens the heart of all of us. May he rest in peace.

As a child, I attended Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church. I loved being at the church. Seeing Mr. Wheelous smile to say, “Shh to Melanie and me as we played with my charm bracelet,” is a memory I won’t forget. He helped mentor me. Playing with all the Wheelous girls after church at their home in Butner is a fond memory too. I am sorry for your loss and sadly I missed the funeral. I would welcome calls and emails from the family.
