Joe “Pool” Morris

 

Joe “Pool” Morris, 78, a resident of Vance County passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his home after an extended illness.

He was born in Granville County on March 2, 1943 to the late Buck and Myrtle Morris. He was a welder in the construction industry for many years.

All services are private.

Surviving are his daughters, Bianca Morris of the home, Vickie Morris Lunsford (Brandon) of Epsom, Pamela Morris Fogg (Stacy) of Raleigh; two grandsons, Stacy and Sherwin; one great-granddaughter, a sister, Elaine Bently of Oxford and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Carol Morris.

    Sorry to hear of Pool’s death. We were best of friends in our early days.We often worked together on the farm. He worked hard and played even harder. I appreciated him and was glad to call him my friend.
