I wish Mary peace. My husband, Daniel J Dunne, III was her brother. God’s blessings on her and Melissa!
My cousin Mary was a compassionate, giving, amazing woman who made the world a better place. I will miss our many conversations and the insights she had. She was a fighter no matter how challenging her health issues became. You will always be in my heart, Mary. Love you
Mary was the kindness soul and so supportive and giving. I am so grateful to have had her in our family. She was constantly encouraging me with my creative pursuits, my health endeavors and more. She helped me research the Irish (Dunne) side of our family tree as I traveled to Ireland. I will miss our weekly calls and letters to one another. She always made me laugh and feel special. Love and hugs to the heavens thank you for always being there. xx
Mary was a hateful person. Hope this message will be posted.
Mary was an uncommonly wise person with a huge heart. She was fierce in life. Smart as a whip especially with finances. Gracious and forgiving. And she loved to laugh as she listened to and told stories. She was a great friend to my now deceased sister and the relationship carried over to me and my other sister. So sorry to learn of her passing. I will miss her greatly. And Melissa thank you for taking such good care of her and being a strong advocate on her behalf. Blessings.
I first met Mary when my family moved to Ridge Road next door to the Dunne..we were both about 9 years old.. We moved away many years after that and reconnected about 5 years ago to our thrill to find each other!
She was a wonderful friend all of that time . She was the greatest friend that I have ever had!!! Anyone would love her that knew her!!!!!!!
She will be missed terribly…😢
Thank you God, we’ll see each other again one day.
I was Mary’s next door neighbor since 1993 and remember with great fondness her mom and dad, who doted on our son when he was little. I would bring fish fry plates from our church whenever we had one and she was a great friend. We stayed in touch on Facebook because of my work schedule. Due to Covid, I, unfortunately, wasn’t able to visit with her in person. I had a feeling she had gotten ill, but just today found out that she had passed away in May. I wish I wouldn’t known about the service, I would have gone to pay my respects to the family. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor, a sharp wit, and I will greatly miss her.
I knew Mary as a friend of my sister, KH. Going through my sister’s many poems, I ran across one about Mary, which is too long to post here, but she called it “Our Angel.” Happy to share the full poem if anyone is interested.
I have known Mary over 42 years. Am going to tell the truth about her. Have wrestled with this since she died. I am the wife of Daniel Joseph DunneIII and need to express my heart about her. She was not the king bedstead
For everyone who thought they knew Mary. I am Susan Fowler Dunne, her deceased brother’s wife. Mary was not kind to me nor to her brother, Danny, over the past 42 years of marriage. She was jealous over her brother and to me. I tried to be kind to her but she still hated me. It makes me sick to read she was of the kindest soul. That is a lie. Nancy Holt, who died last year, would vouch for that. It is sad how we are treated over the years and this needed to be posted. She was a great fake friend to those that did not truly know her. She put me down in a big way and also to her deceased brother. This should rest and hopefully those that knew her will be reassured she was an evil woman. Never ever knew a woman like her. She was a great fake for personality. This should be posted. She was cruel to Aunt Cynthia and Mary’s mother,, Mary Jenest Dunne, did not like her own daughter. Aunt Cynthia was a gracious person and did not want to live with her anymore.
