
Warren Taylor Barker
Warren Taylor Barker, 68 a resident of Granville County passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center.
Warren as born November 17, 1952 in Granville County to the late Taylor Barker and Sallie Greene Barker. He was of the Methodist Faith and was an Heavy Equipment Technician with the NC Department of Transportation.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2021 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Bruce Beck. You may access the graveside service by clicking on the following link:

Surviving are his wife, Linda Garner Barker of the home; two brothers, David Barker (Sharon), Kenneth Goss (Sylvia Ann) all of Oxford. He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Taylor Barker.
Flowers are kindly accepted or memorials may be made to the Oxford Fire Department, 112 E. McClanahan St. Oxford, NC 27565.

My sympathy go out to the family at this sad time. I have many good memories of Warren in the past. I think the saying Love, Live and Laugh, describes him well. I know Chad, all his love ones and friends are greeting him to his forever home with our Lord!

I have memories of Warren from years ago. I will always cherish them for years to come. He was a friend, a father to Chad which he love dearly. I know Chad was waiting to celebrate with him at the pearly gates with our Heavenly Father for all of us. Rest In Peace Warren!
Warren I will miss our talks, visits, and watching NASCAR. I know that you are no longer in pain. Thanks for your advise. You will truly be missed. Test easy, we will look after Linda.

I am so sorry to hear about Warren. I have many memories of Warren. He had a heart made of gold and loved everyone. He had a desire to always help anyone. I know Chad is waiting at the Pearly Gates for his Dad. Rest in Peace, Warren.
