My deepest sympathies to all of Betty’s family during this sad time. She was such a sweet and always very kind lady to me, just as Oscar was. They always treated me and talked to me when I saw them as if I was one of their children. Betty was no different after Oscar passed on. I had the chance to see her several times before this pandemic started and we chatted and caught up as if no time had passed. I know she loved her life and mostly her family. She spoke of all of you often. And yes she was very proud of each of you. I’m thankful she was able to be home in her final days since that’s where she loved being most. You all should be very proud of giving her the final desire of her heart. I know she will be missed. Prayers for each of you as you say those final goodbyes. Much love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this most difficult time. I think back and remember the times Terrie and I spent nights with Mr. and Mrs. Hicks. We were best buds. They always welcomed us into their home as one of their own. Mrs. Hicks was truly a wonderful person and she will be missed by many. Remembering the memories will help with the sorrow and heartache. We are there for you. Take care, God bless and know she is in a better place.
