Jimmy Raynor
Jimmy Raynor, 66, of Granville County passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Granville Health System.
Jimmy was born in Granville County to the late William P. Raynor and Catherine Thomerson Raynor. He was a member of Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church and retired from the Granville County School System. Jimmy had many hobbies including woodworking and gardening but his greatest passion was his family.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Peaces Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by Reverend David Richardson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Kaye Woody Raynor; two daughters, Nicole Raynor Duke (Chris) of Oxford and Amy Raynor Powell (Scott) of Oxford; three grandchildren, Aiden, Eli and Collin Duke and Baby Powell due in May; a brother, Billy Raynor of Garner and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John Raynor and two sisters, Frances Watson and Betty Bridges.
