Robert Alexander Poe
Robert Alexander Poe, 62, a lifelong resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.
Robert was born in Durham County on June 7, 1958 to the late Alexander Earl Poe and Beverly Ann Council. He was raised in love by his father and Ellen Sherron Poe who he always knew as “mama”.
Surviving, in addition to his mothers, are his daughter Cheryl “Alex” Poe; his son, Joshua “Allen” Poe; his sister Cindi Murphy (Rick) and their son, Ashton Murphy; two brothers, Cecil and Jody Johnson and numerous other family members and an endless amount of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2020 at the Sherron Family Cemetery, Will Suitt Rd. Creedmoor, NC 27522. Flowers are accepted and can be delivered to the cemetery.
