
Rosa Elizabeth Dickerson
Rosa Elizabeth Dickerson, 86 a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, January 9, 2020 at Brantwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Granville County on July 30, 1934 to the late Woodrow Wilson Dickerson Sr. and Rosa Burchette Dickerson. Rosa was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Roy Dickerson (Susie) of Durham, Woodrow (Nancy) Dickerson of Oxford; sister-in-law, Joyce Dickerson of Henderson and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Edna Murray, Ida Norfork, Judy Lane Dickerson and brothers, William Dickerson, James Dickerson and Alvin Lee Dickerson.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2020 at Tabbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Randy Pittman. You may access the graveside service by clicking on the following link:

A public viewing will be held Monday January 11, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children.

Woodrow, Roy & family — Alice and I are so sorry to learn of Lib’s passing. We have such fond memories to cherish of our time as neighbors. She was such a good and friendly person with a real sense of humor. We are so glad that our life’s paths crossed and know she is in a better place now.

Roy and family, I’m so sorry for your loss of sweet Elizabeth. I so loved her at Granville house with her smile and always happy disposition. Through her we reconnected after years since school days and life. God bless and keep her, and may your many memories support and console you through your grief.
