Parrish of Raleigh; grandson Neil Laney of Mebane; grandson Preston Laney and wife Jessica of Burlington; great grandson Austin Laney of Mebane; great grandson Neil Joshua Reeves Laney of Hillsborough; great grandson Jordan Tyson Laney of Burlington.

To the family of Mrs. Ella Ruth Wilson, my deepest condolences with the ascension of your dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother and cherished friend. Your mother was always so welcoming to the group Thom created. Always giving advice and filling out bellies with her wonderful meals cooked with love. She will be missed be she will always be near and dear to all those who were lucky enough to call her friend, family member, grandmother or mother. Be at ease in your new glorious home.
Love.
Ruth was a fine and dear friend to so many. She will be missed by the community and especially her family – husband, children and. grandchildren – who love her dearly and to whom she remained loyal. All things pass through God’s hands and the result rest in Gods arms. Rest In Peace Ruth until we meet again.
Sorry about the passing of Ruth, we rode to Duke in 1963 when Ned and I got married and lived in Butner
I am so sorry to read this about Ruth. William and I were neighbors in the early 70s and really enjoyed our time on B street with this lovely family.
I have known Mrs. Parrish and her family for many years. Although I have lost contact throughout these years, she always treated me and my family with the upmost and sincere care. She honestly had such a beautiful soul and spirit.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family♥
Have many fond memories of Ruth. She was my supervisor when she retired from Duke. Wonderful lady. So sorry for your loss.
