

Mary Bentley
Mary Bentley, 73, of Granville County passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.
Mary was born October 18, 1947 to the late Paul Howard Balmer and Nita Lois Vaughan. She retired from Revlon after many years of service.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by Pastor Henry Abbott.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, William David Bentley of Oxford and Phillip Andrew Bentley of Roxboro; two daughters, Susan Diane Thomas of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Melinda Carol Seguin of Little River, SC; six grandchildren, Donnie Bentley, Justin Bentley, Brittany Estep, Megan Cooke, Ashley Bourgeois and Nolan C.J. Bourgeois; one sister, Elizabeth Bullock; two brothers, Johnny Balmer and Richard Balmer and three great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Bentley; three sisters, Emma Miles, Janice Williamson and Pauline Newby; two brothers, Paul (Junior) Balmer and James Balmer and one great-granddaughter, Diane Elizabeth Estep.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
Flowers are kindly accepted.
Due to COVID-19 there is a limit of ten people will be allowed in the building at a time during the visitation and no more than fifty people are allowed in the chapel for the funeral service. Eakes Funeral Home will be following social distancing guidelines and masks or other appropriate face coverings are required.

they were our neighbors on Raleigh rd. I went to church with them. they were nice people . rest in peace Mary
Sorry to hear of Mrs. Bentley’s death. My condolences to the whole family. I knew David and Phillip from backyard football and coaching softball at the old ballfield at Lewis behind the old store. May God bless ya’ll and keep you in his tender care.
