

Titus Gilbert Davis
Titus Gilbert Davis, 93, a resident of Wake County passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2020 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law.
Mr. Davis was born in Granville County on February 11, 1927 to the late J.L. Davis and Beulah Bradford Davis. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Davis worked 20 years as a typesetter in Miami Florida, and 21 years in the insurance business in Oxford. After retirement he worked as a security guard for 8 years at Revlon. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
A graveside service with Military Honors and the Patriot Guard will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Bethel United Methodist Church by Rev. David Richardson. You may access the graveside service by clicking on the following link:

He leaves behind his lasting memories to cherish his three daughters, Karen Davis Boykin of Georgia, Donna Davis of Florida and Charnea Davis Vicini of Raleigh; three step-children, John, Bryon and Nikki; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a special friend, Nurse, Tracey Britt. He was preceded in death by his four brothers and three sisters.
Eakes Funeral Home will be following social distancing guidelines and asks that everyone in attendance wear a mask or appropriate face covering.

Mr Davis was a very nice person and has been missed at Church by us . I know he is not happy to be whole again and with the Lord and Marie .Steve and I will be praying for you all .

We will never forget Mr. Dave singing at the kitchen table and watching the birds. He was always excited to see whoever came up to visit. He will be greatly missed by many people. God received a special angel. Rest in Peace Grandpa.

I am so sorry for your loss family but I rejoice with him because he is with Jesus and with his sweet wife again. I am sorry to have not been at the service. I have never known a nicer kinder and pleasant person than him he was truly a good friend.
