
Bruce Wayne Cromer, Sr.
Bruce Wayne Cromer Sr. “Scooter Bill”, 67, of Granville County passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home.
Bruce was born in Surry County to the late Charlie Floyd Cromer and Kathryn Place. He attended Stovall Baptist Church and worked at Certainteed and was the project manager for Cromer Utilities and Old Skool Utilities for many years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Stovall Baptist Church by Reverend Eddie Mauldin. Burial will follow at Tabbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of forty eight years, Nancy Dean Cromer of the home; twin daughters, Nora Kaye Cromer Hunt (John) of Oxford and Wanda Faye Cromer (KiKi) of Oxford; four sons, Bruce Wayne Cromer Jr. (Angie) of Stovall, Randy Lee Cromer of Oxford, Kelvin “KK” Cromer (Jessica) of Oxford and Horace Bowen of Oxford; four sisters, one brother, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 12:30 – 1:45 PM at Stovall Baptist Church
Flowers are accepted.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bruce’s sister Donna, Dr. Cutson and the staff of Durham VA for the care and dedication shown to their dad.
Eakes Funeral Home will be following social distancing guidelines and ask that all in attendance please wear a mask or appropriate face covering.
