Kenneth Ray Boyd Sr.

Kenneth Ray Boyd Sr., 54, of Granville County passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his niece’s home.

Kenneth was born in Granville County to Alfred W. Boyd Jr. and Julia Cifers Boyd. He was of the Baptist Faith and was baptized at Tally Ho Baptist Church. Kenneth was employed in the maintenance department at Murdoch Developmental Center for sixteen years before he retired in 2010.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor from 12:30-1:30 PM. A Graveside Service will follow at Community Gardens in Stem at 2:00 PM by Reverend Robert Oliver and Reverend Tim Shaw.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Melissa Ann Boyd (Isaac) of Creedmoor; a son, Kenneth Ray Boyd Jr. of Butner; a step-son, Danny Hubbard of Butner; four grandchildren, Dixie, Aubrey, Kenneth and Brooklyn; a brother, David Wayne Boyd Sr. of Oxford and many loving nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted.
