Olivia Mae Stevenson Walker
Olivia Mae Stevenson Walker, 94, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her sister’s home.
Olivia was a native of Warren County and was the daughter of the late Ollie Van Stevenson and Onnie Hicks. She was of the Christian faith. Olivia and her husband Bobby owned and operated Walkers’s Grocery and Gas station for many years in Creedmoor. She also was a cosmetologist.
Graveside services will held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rogers Family Cemetery, Hwy 56 in Creedmoor by Rev. David Hornbuckle.
Surviving are a sister, Velma Gooch of Creedmoor, two nephews Steven Gooch and Adlai Woodlief of Creedmoor and April Wheeler Andolfid, who was like a special daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby C. Walker and her sister Earline S. Woodlief.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimers Society, 9131 Anson Way, Suite 206, Raleigh NC 27615 or to a charity of one’s choice.

To Velma, Steve and “Pembo”. “Dootsie” came into mine and April’s lives when we needed her most. I will be forever greatful for her and Bobby providing a loving and caring place for April to stay while I was working and a single mom. Thank you to Steve for caring for Dootsie in her final years.
