Jerry Leon Claiborne
Jerry Leon Claiborne, 68, of Granville County passed away Saturday, November7, 2020 at Brantwood Nursing Center.
Jerry was born in Granville County to the late Hildred Taylor Claiborne Sr. and Louise Faucette. He was a member of Stovall Baptist Church and worked at Harriett Cotton Mill for many years.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Stovall Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 PM by Reverend Cecil Newton.
Surviving are his sister Deborah King (Larry) of Henderson; a brother, Larry Dale Claiborne (Judy) of Oxford and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother H.T. “Taylor” Claiborne Jr.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
