Rest in Peace Aunt Jo. Your work here is done, A sweet and loving Aunt, She always remembered the little ones on Christmas Eve at Grandma Davis’ walking around with her cigarette case and handing out dollar bills. Wonderful memoires.

Jo, you and I had some good laughs working at Lee Dyeing Company many years ago. May God comfort your family.

Neans, you did so much for me, your granddaughter and all of your grandchildren. You were the first person to take me to church as a young child. You kept me and my brother every other weekend as kids for as long as I can remember. I remember the vegetable soup and bologna sandwich lunches after church and then running wild and barefoot in your backyard. I remember all the hugs, toys played with, and Dr. Seuss books read. I remember the trip to the beach where I was horribly sunburnt and going up in the lighthouse. You gave so much to me and Tristen right when we needed it and made us feel loved. I know as children that left a huge mark on us. We love you.

JJ and family-wishing you God’s peace during this difficult time. We just had a conversation about life’s realities. Stay strong and remember to look to the ONE ABOVE for strength and guidance. There will be hard moments ahead, but your mom gave you guidance on who to turn to. May God bless you all and carry you during this time. LOVE YOU ALL-STAY STRONG!

It’s been over 4 months now. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I’m reminded of you through everything I do you were just always there the grocery store, church, bojangles, home.. I miss you more than I can ever put in words. All I can say is thank you soulfully for everything you were so selfless and put so many other above yourself. WITHOUT YOU I wouldn’t be who I am now. HONESTLY idk what where or who I’d be. I had you 17 years I’m so grateful for that even though it doesn’t seem long enough.. I’ll be with you one day for eternity. I wish you were here and could let me make you proud! I was your freckled faced big blue eyed baby. ALWAYS will be. I’ll cherish and love every memorie we have and day we spent together till the day I come to you.. I’ll be with you forever.Thank you for everything nana.- Your little girl♥️(Desiluella)
