
Boyd Franklin Hilton
Boyd Franklin Hilton, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
Frank was born April 9, 1938 in Davie County, North Carolina, to the late Roland and Ethel Hilton. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired supervisor for the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Frank is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane Hilton; daughters, Valerie Lynn Williams and Kimberly Shay Wilson; stepsons, Christopher John Laney and Walter Loren Laney(Lindsay Deutsch Laney), and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Boyd Kevin Hilton. Special thanks go to Transitions Hospice of Raleigh, Franklin Manor of Youngsville, and Frank’s close aide, Joyce Trowbridge.
A graveside service will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens, Stem, NC. The service will be livestreamed and will be available to view by visiting www.eakesfuneralhome.com and selecting obits. The link to view the service will be in the obituary.

Jane , so sorry to read of Frank’s death. I didn’t realize you had been married that long. Frank was such a help to me in locating cemeteries for the Genealogy Society Cemetery project some years ago. May God be with you and the family and give you comfort.

Frank was a great friend, him and Jane were my next door neighbor at there Holden Beach home, always enjoyed sitting and talking when they were down at the beach, and going out to dinner, very good times. Jane I’m so sorry for your lose, miss seeing you guy’s next door.. and with a heavy heart I will miss seeing Frank…..RIP my FRIEND
