William Edward Cash Sr.
William Edward Cash Sr., 83, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Edward Theodore Cash and Myrtle Faucette. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and retired after thirty-three years from the Oxford Livestock Market.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Steve Brown. You may access the funeral service by clicking on the following link:

Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Mary Ann Allgood Cash of the home, a daughter, Lisa Cash Rains (Mel) of Oxford, a son, William “Eddie” Edward Cash Jr. of Raleigh, and one step granddaughter Shannon Givhan of Lexington, KY.
Public viewing will be held from 11:00-1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
Flowers are accepted.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will be following the social distancing rules and face masks must be worn when entering the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear about William Edward. I have lots of found memories of him throughout my life. He was such a kind person. Prayers, hugs and lots of love to all of you.

The loss of someone dear to us is never easy. Cherish the wonderful memories and may they bring you some comfort during this difficult time. I remember William Edward while growing up in Stovall Baptist Church. He was of great character, well loved and respected, had a warm, infectious smile and laugh, and a big heart. I am so sorry to hear about William Edward. I didn’t see him often but he reminded me so much of his Daddy, Edward. He made his Mama and Daddy proud. Myrtle loved her William Edward. When I worked with her at Buy-Rite she talked about him all the time as well as you, Lisa and Eddie. I pray God will comfort you during this time as only he can. My love to all of you
