




William Edward Cash Sr.
William Edward Cash Sr., 83, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Edward Theodore Cash and Myrtle Faucette. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and retired after thirty-three years from the Oxford Livestock Market.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Steve Brown. You may access the funeral service by clicking on the following link:

Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Mary Ann Allgood Cash of the home, a daughter, Lisa Cash Rains (Mel) of Oxford, a son, William “Eddie” Edward Cash Jr. of Raleigh, and one step granddaughter Shannon Givhan of Lexington, KY.
Public viewing will be held from 11:00-1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
Flowers are accepted.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will be following the social distancing rules and face masks must be worn when entering the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear about William Edward. I have lots of found memories of him throughout my life. He was such a kind person. Prayers, hugs and lots of love to all of you.

I remember William Edward while growing up in Stovall Baptist Church. He was of great character, well loved and respected, had a warm, infectious smile and laugh, and a big heart. I am so sorry to hear about William Edward. I didn’t see him often but he reminded me so much of his Daddy, Edward. He made his Mama and Daddy proud. Myrtle loved her William Edward. When I worked with her at Buy-Rite she talked about him all the time as well as you, Lisa and Eddie. I pray God will comfort you during this time as only he can. My love to all of you
