Carolyn Anthony Keeton

 

Carolyn Anthony Keeton, 71, a lifelong resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at her home.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late William Warren Anthony and Mary Belle Pittman. She was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church and worked as a quilting inspector for many years.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Grassy Creek Baptist Church By Rev. Cameron Currin and Rev. Herbert Brown. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service in the Sanctuary of the Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Keeton, Sr.; two daughters, Katherine Williamson (Brian), Kimberly Keeton (Rodney); two sons, Lawrence Keeton, Jr. (Laurie), Mike Keeton (Berjouhi); nine grandchildren, Heather Keeton, Rebecca Williamson, Caitlyn Keeton, Travis Keeton (Julie), Wesley Cole, Jason Cole (Carly), Kevin Keeton, Keith Williamson and Noah Pittman; two great-grandchildren, Paisley Cole, Jace Keeton; three sisters, Gail Reed, Beverly Jones, Wilma Champion; a brother, Donald Anthony, Sr. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Anthony.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grassy Creek Baptist Church, 9142 Grassy Creek Rd., Bullock, NC 27507 or to the American Cancer Society.

    She will be missed. She was an amazing woman. Loved her family and BB. I can remember the time spent working on her yard and garden. A very dedicated woman. I will miss MY FRIEND.
