Jimmy Louis Cox

Jimmy Louis Cox, 57, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Nelson Lee Cox and Annie Cash. He was of the Christian faith and was a self employed painter for many years.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving are his son; Cody James Cox (Kimberly), a daughter; Melissa Danielle Cox, his girlfriend; Carla Reep, a stepson; James Reep, two granddaughters; Allyanna Cox and Ariana McGhee, three grandsons; Joshua Cox, Tyler Waugh and Dakota Neal and two nieces; Tabitha Neal and Tori McGhee. He was preceded in death by a son; Nicholas Cox, a grandson; Ayden Cox and a sister Amy Neal.
