Glenn Thomas Lunsford


Glenn Thomas Lunsford, 55, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2020 at his home.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of Thomas Edward Lunsford and Mary Milton. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and retired as a diesel mechanic with Granville County Schools.

A private service will be held Friday, 3:00 PM on May 29, 2020 at Meadowview Memorial Gardens by Pastor Lindsay Collins.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-six years; Deborah Wynne Lunsford of the home, a daughter; Shannon Vick of Oxford, a son; Randy Lunsford (Whitney) of Oxford, a sister; Kimberly Bowman (Paul) of Oxford and three grandchildren.

    I’m so very sorry to hear this. Glenn was such a sweet person. Growing up in school together, I never heard him say a cross word about anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

    To the whole family of Glenn, you all are in our thoughts and prayers. He was one of the nicest neighbors we could ever have. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for us. Randy included. God got another wonderful Angel. He will be greatly missed.
