

Carol Roberts
On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Carol Roberts, Loving wife of Owen Roberts of Creedmoor, passed away at the age of 76.
Carol was born in Granville County to the late Samuel Owen Beasley and Mary Beatrice Puckett Beasley. She graduated from Oxford High School and received her nursing degree from Parkview Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC. She practiced nursing for the next 35 years. On May 24, 1968, she married Owen T. Roberts of Granville County. They were married for 53 years. Carol had a passion for music, her family and her church. She showed an unfailing love for Owen, her family and Jesus.
Carol is survived by her husband, Owen; a brother, Sam Beasley; four sisters, Christine Thaxton of Creedmoor, Celia Kierzewski (Howard) of Mine Run, VA, Elizabeth Faulkner of Louisburg, and Florence Sondys of Washington, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Ella Roberts; brother-in-law, David Roberts of Oxford; sister-in-law, Patricia Hixon of Creedmoor and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ted Roberts; and four brothers-in-law, Larry Roberts, Ross Hixson, Thomas Thaxton and Bobby Faulkner.
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Community Memorial Gardens in Stem, NC. You may access the funeral service by clicking on the following link:

Owen and Christine, I am so sorry for your loss of Carol. She was such a gifted person in so many ways. I really enjoyed knowing her through choir at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
