Thomas Lee Weaver, Jr.


Thomas Lee Weaver, Jr., 59, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of Thomas Lee Weaver, Sr. and Patricia Wright Weaver. He was of the Baptist faith and was an electrician by trade. Thomas restored a 1935 Dodge and enjoyed showing it at shows for many years.

A private graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife of twenty years, Patricia Spence Weaver of the home; two sisters, Debra Weaver Jaber (Tony) of Durham, Cindy Weaver Davis (David) of Raleigh; stepsons, Thadd Davidson, Joey Dawson of Durham and David Dawson of Apex; a niece, Clatie Jaber and nephew, Andrew Jaber.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Granville County Animal Shelter. 5650 Cornwall Road, Oxford NC 27575.

    Thomas and Patricia, I am so very sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. We visited with him quite awhile when Pauline passed away. Please know I’m thinking about you and hate we can’t be there. This is a terrible time the world is in right now. Love y’all.

    We are going to miss Tommy so much.This such a shock when we just seen him the day before. Tommy and my husband loved to sit and talk about Ricky Yarboro who also is in Heaven, They worked in the electrical trade together. Mr&Mrs Weaver your family is in our thoughts,and prayers.     Tommy was a friend of mine for many years . we had a lot of fun in our teenage years ,and more . we didn,t see each other as often as we should have, but we always kept in touch through the years we will miss him very much . he will be greatly missed.
