This is Brent Whitfield, son of Randy and grandson of Pop. More than once he told me that he didn’t want me to come to his funeral because he wasn’t going to be there anyways. Against my wishes, I will be honoring his and staying in Florida with his 4 week old great grand-daughter.

Being his grandson, I never knew what he was like as a boy, as a young man or even in middle age. But as an old man, he was the perfect grandfather for me. I will miss you forever Pop!
