Jean Edenfield Loretto

 

Jean Edenfield Loretto, 80, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Screven County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Barney Edenfield and Mary Griffin. She was a longtime waitress at Jerry’s Pizza and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Creedmoor.

Surviving are a daughter; Lesa Adams and husband Jim of Butner, a grandson; James Lee Adams Jr. and daughter-in-law Alaina Adams of Charlotte, two sisters; Marsha Ann and Joyce, two brothers; Billy and James and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church by Pastor Buddy Ritter. Burial will be in the South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Carmon Joseph Loretto and a brother; Tony Kilgore.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1512 Beaver Dam Rd., Creedmoor, NC 27522, Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro Rd., Durham, NC 27704 or Amedisys Hospice, 3320 US 1 Highway, Suite B, Franklinton, NC 27525.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

    Lesa, Jim and James….I am so sorry for your loss. Our condolences to you all. Your Mom was was the sweetest and kind person. I feel like I lost a little part of my mom with her. She was always so good to her, for which I’m forever grateful. Sending our love and prayers for peace and comfort. Kathy and Gary Garner
