Mary L. Goss

 

Mary L. Goss, 74, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at her home.

She was born October 17, 1945 in Granville County to the late Coy Lee Holbrook and Fannie Bell Williamson. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church. Mary worked at Kayser Roth for many years and was a legal secretary before retiring.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-six years, Badge “Tommie” Goss of the home; two daughters, Donna G. Grissom of Oxford, Phyllis G. Fath (Ken) of Hillsborough; a son, Randy T. Goss of Stem; two sisters, Betty Lloyd Gregory of Bunn, Linda Tester of Creedmoor; three brothers, Larry Holbrook of Florida, Jimmy Holbrook of Creedmoor, Ralph Holbrook of Durham; six grandchildren, Stacey Mangum, Kristen Fowler, Kelley Gardner, Jordan Ross, Kalyn Fowler, Ethan Goss and two great grandchildren, Owen Mangum and Claire Mangum. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Goss.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Granville County Animal Shelter, 5650 Cornwall Rd., Oxford, NC 27565.

    Sure will miss Marry lee. You one if the first couples that my mom and fads friended when we moved to North Carolina. I know my brother will sure miss you as well.

    I am sorry to hear of Marys passing. I worked with her at Kayser Roth. A real nice lady and hard worker. My condolences to the family.
