Janet “Faye” McNeill Hurt

 

Janet “Faye” McNeill Hurt, 68, a longtime resident of Stem passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 after many years of declining health.

She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church in Hillsborough and was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, February 24, 2020 at South Granville Memorial Park in Stem by the Rev. Ken Stanley.

Surviving are two daughters, Ellen Rimmer of Roxboro, Robin Fuller of Butner, two sons, Chris Hurt of Rougemont, David Hurt of Stem; two sisters, Brenda Mitchell of Littleton, Vivian Thomas of Butner, a brother, Tommy McNeill of Oxford; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Darnell Hurt, Sr. and a brother, William Ray McNeill.

    Faye was a very special lady I will miss her a lot ,but know she is better off with Jesus and out of pain
