Holly Peterson
Holly Peterson was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend. Holly was born in Austin, Texas on June 28th 1989. She was born into a military family and lived in Texas, Mississippi, and North Carolina. Through her many moves, she had the ability to talk to anyone and made friends easy with her outgoing personality. Holly was a talented athlete and was even the only girl on her baseball team all through middle school. She played soccer in high school and continued to play during her 2 years at Louisburg College. Holly graduated with an associate’s degree in business and accounting. Holly was a smart girl who had the gift of the gab. She would have been excellent in sales with her charismatic personality. Holly had a love for life. Some of her favorite things included laying out on the beach, watching Duke Basketball with her dad, and spending time with her son Brody.
The relationship she had with her sister, Falon, was very special. Holly was a not-so-perfect little sister, but always had Falon’s back. No one could mess with Falon, but Holly 😊. Holly loved her mom and dad and had a talent for driving them crazy 😉. She had an extra-special relationship with her brother-in-law, Josh, whom she considered her best friend. Most of all she loved and adored her son Brody, he was her world. Holly was a single mom and wanted nothing more than for Brody to have a wonderful life.
She is survived by her son, Brody; Mom and Dad, Ed and Robin Peterson; sister, Falon Peterson; brother-in-law, Joshua Georghiou; Grandfather, Rudy C. Peterson; uncles, Joel and John Peterson; sister, Paula Bradley.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Capstone Recovery Center, 418 W. Innes St. Salisbury, NC 28144.

I was just informed by such devastating news. I had the pleasure of knowing Holly at LBC (Louisburg College). We played soccer together. She was a very fun person, and I enjoyed her as a team mate. I didn’t get to stay in touch but my love and blessings go to her beautiful son Brody and all of her family members as well as friends! May she rest peacefully and God bless!
