




Ethel Lynn Gupton Gilliam
Ethel Lynn Gupton Gilliam, 85, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Cleacy B. Gupton and Iris Lynn Gupton . She was a member of the Butner First Baptist Church and retired from John Umstead Hospital after 30 years of service.
A private graveside services will be conducted at Carolina Memorial Gardens by Dr. Charlie Bryan.
Surviving are a daughter, Jerri Gail Suggs (Kenneth) of Rougemont, a son, Gary Gilliam (Kathy) of Creedmoor, a sister, Renee Mangum of Rougemont, a brother, Billy Gupton of Butner , three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Ausey Gilliam, two sisters; Janet Lee and Carolyn Bolton and a brother Bobby Gupton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Butner First Baptist P.O. Box 44 Butner, NC 27509
